Welcome to Beatworx Access, a short online programme to explore the world of electronic music with a tiny sized bite. You will learn just enough to get started and pique your curiosity. Spread over 6 classes of 60 minutes each nipping the buds of DJ’ing, Music Production and Nightlife.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
You will be taught the basics of DJ, Music Production and Nightlife management, which are the three core aspects of electronic music.

Anyone and everyone that loves music and has thought about giving it a shot. Regardless of your age and background, this course is set to be total fun.

What is Electronic Dance Music?
Electronic dance music (also known as EDM) is a genre of music that is commonly produced for clubs and music festivals. This music genre is most commonly used by DJs. Within electronic dance music is a plethora of sub-genres including House Music, Techno, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Trap, Trance and more!
What are the career opportunities in this field?
Electronic Music today has taken the world by storm and there are ample career opportunities in this field, from being a resident DJ or a club DJ to being a film score composer, sound designer or foley artist and more! The options are endless.
I already know the basics of DJing and Music Production, is this course still going to be helpful?
This course is targeted to teach the absolute basics of getting started in the electronic music space, so if you’re looking at some advanced topics to be covered, we suggest you look at the other courses we offer on our website.
How are the classes going to be held?
The classes are going to be held over Zoom (a video conferencing app). After registration, you will receive an email from us with the Zoom class ID & Password along with other important instructions. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder and if you have any issues, email students@beatworx.in.
How do I pay?

What software do I need?
The courses will be taught in Rekordbox (DJ Module), Ableton / FL Studio (Music Production Module) & OBS (Live Streaming Module).
Will I be able to “mix” and “produce” music on my own after the course?
After the completion of this course, you will learn the basics of DJing, which is transitioning between tracks and the basics of Music Production, that is coming up with your own beat.
